A FURNACE, A FIRE
AFAF is the debut album from CHERRIE LAUREL, which self-released digitally worldwide in December 2018. This album marked the launch of CHERRIE LAUREL’s solo avant-pop electronic project. The first music video and single from the album Pleases Me premiered on Gorilla Vs. Bear in late November 2018. A Furnace, A Fire is a compilation of stories composed between 2015 and 2018; written, produced and recorded in Rand’s home studio in Vancouver, Canada. AFAF is a personal reflection on mental health, identity, and gender issues.
